Windhill manufactures model windmills in Perth, Western Australia. These windmills are modelled after the Southern Cross R-Pattern windmill, an Australian icon that sadly is no longer in production, but can still be found Australia-wide. 

Features and Legacy

The Windhill replica windmills pay homage to a bygone era while adding a touch of nostalgia to properties across Australia. They emulate the 17’ Southern Cross R-Pattern windmill, the smallest in the R-Pattern range of windmills. The R-Pattern fan diameter ranged from 5m to a massive 9m (17’ - 30’) in diameter, though this still wasn’t the largest windmill fan available in Australia at the time.
